Lil’ Miss Pets was established in 2021 to serve pets and their parents in the greater San Diego area. We are proudly family owned and operated. Since our founding, we have helped hundreds of pet owners by caring for their furry friends while they’re away or just need extra support. Our background- checked and insured professionals provide services ranging from a simple midday check-in to a stimulating exercise walk, depending on the pet’s needs.
Lil Miss Pets’ mission is to treat our employees, clients and all pets like family. Whether you’re at work or on vacation, our goal is to give you peace of mind that your pet is safe, loved and content. The partnership formed between our employees and their pet parents ensures that your pet receives individualized care from someone you trust (and your pet adores!)
The personal touch offered by our small, family-owned business allows you and your pet to establish a long-term, secure relationship with our team of experienced and caring professionals. Our team members are fully insured employees, and are CPR and First Aid certified by ProPet Hero. This allows us to have full control over our operations and services and provide you with the best pet care possible.

Still have questions? Refer to our FAQs or contact us.
1.1 The security of your home and the safety of your pet is our number one priority. That is why each of our team members must pass a background check and complete a certification process. Lil Miss Pets is bonded and insured and uses the most up-to-date technology to service our clients. In addition, we have customers and their pets who have been Lil Miss Pets clients for years. Read what they have to say on our testimonials page (link to testimonials page).
1.2 We use lockboxes to securely store your key with a unique access code provided by the pet parent. Lil Miss Pets employees won’t ever hold a copy of your key and you will receive a message via the portal confirming the key has been safely stored back in the lockbox at the end of each visit.
1.3 We are also proud to be a Preferred Vendor since 2021 across the Garden Communities in the San Diego area.

We conduct complimentary Meet & Greets to get to know you and your pet prior to starting services where we have time to connect 1:1 and answer any additional questions you may have.
You will receive a thorough recap via the Time to Pet portal, including all details of the visit and pictures of your pet.
We walk rain or shine; however, your pet’s safety always comes first! During certain weather conditions, our team members will assess and determine if it’s safe for your pet to be outside. For example, if it’s 90 degrees or higher we will conduct quick potty breaks, stay within shaded areas, avoid asphalt to protect your pet’s paws, provide water breaks and remain inside for play time the remainder of the visit. We walk in the rain unless there is a storm, lightning, strong winds or hail. Our team has towel supplies to dry your pet off after the walk.
6.1 We recommend using harnesses and leashes provided by the pet parent. However, if a parent prefers us to bring in our own equipment, that is a complimentary option.
6.2 If we find an accident, we will clean it up to the best of our ability with cleaning supplies provided by the parent. All trash/soiled supplies will be disposed of outside, never inside the house/apartment.
Monday to Sunday, 7 AM to 8 PM
You can book here
9.1 We have a 24-hour cancellation policy. A full charge will apply if services are canceled with less than 24 hours’ notice.
9.2 Why do you charge a cancellation fee? When you book an appointment, that time has been exclusively reserved for you and your pet. We understand that changes occur, and we always do our best to accommodate them. However, we are a small team and last-minute cancellations/schedule changes have a negative impact on our walkers’ planned schedules and our ability to operate effectively while maintaining high-quality service.
Not currently, however, check back as we may offer this service in the future!
Our team members are experienced with all types of breeds, behaviors and conditions, however, we realize each situation is unique. That’s why we conduct a thorough and complimentary Meet & Greet session with you and your pet at the start of our services, asking the right questions to gain a better understanding of your pet’s needs.
12.1 Life threatening emergency: we will contact the vet you provided in your profile, call you on our way and meet you at the vet clinic or animal hospital.
12.2 Sensitive situation (non-emergent): we will contact you to discuss details and align on a plan of action and next steps for your pet/home.
We’d love to hear from you here.
